Most patients return to normal daily activities within a few days, with minimal downtime. Cases that undergo hair transplantation in the front part may experience swelling in the forehead and eye sockets for the first week.
With FUE techniques, there will be small multiple dot scars in the back. FUT scar will be linear scar. The scars from both techniques will not be visible unless the hair is shaved.
Shaving is typically required in the donor area for optimal graft extraction. In some cases, partial or non-shaven techniques may be possible, depending on individual suitability.
New hair growth usually begins around 3–4 months after the procedure. Full results are typically seen within 12 months as the transplanted hair matures naturally.
